B2B (Junior) Sales Executive

To help accelerate our growth, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Developer.

What you will be doing (in close collaboration with colleagues and management):

 

  • Build and grow a sales pipeline through a combination of research, cold calling, market intelligence and business events; together with associated business development managers.

  • Engage with top executives regarding topics such as innovation, business growth, organizational transformation... and mature the sales pipeline through consultative selling.

  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, handle complex DMU and close deals.

  • Understand the E2E sales & customer decision process; emphasis on hunting new business, while expanding existing accounts.

  • Execute the sales strategy and plan within an assigned geographical or vertical market.

  • Report on progress and results; energize the team and celebrate success.

  • Support the consulting team to successfully kickstart delivery of the projects

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years of senior level international sales of complex software solutions or consulting services.

  • Successful history in consultative selling with track record of exceeding targets

  • Professional presence with credibility at CxO level

  • Understanding of business models in industries such as automotive, pharma, FMCG, industry...

  • Prior consulting experience in strategy & innovation is a plus, but not mandatory

  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting attitude

  • Self-confident team player with excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent listener, able to read between the lines, capable of analyzing the situation in real time and reacting accordingly, aware of the political dimension in an organization

  • Well-organized, driven by getting results, like to take ownership

  • Fluent in Dutch and English. German and/or French are an asset

  • Willingness to travel, mainly in Europe
